prison island tour After a pickup at your hotel, you’ll start this memorable day with a good-half-an-hour boat trip to Prison Island, also known as Changuu island or Quarantine island, located in the Zanzibar Archipelago. In 1893 the former British prime minister of Zanzibar purchased the island and built a prison complex on it. But – it never served to its intended use! It was used as a quarantine station for yellow fever cases. Today is the building a ruin, but it serves as a lovely guesthouse for tourists, where you’ll be able to relax a bit and enjoy magnificent views after visiting the giant tortoises’ reserve, where you will admire, pet, and even feed these magnificent, ancient, peaceful creatures. But – they are not locals! Four specimens of Aldabra giant tortoises were a gift from the governor of Seychelles in 1919.

They found Prison Island a great environment and bred freely. Today, many tortoises are welcoming you, and the first settlers are still among them! There is also a nursery for baby tortoises, where you can see baby tortoises of different ages. A great encounter for everyone, especially for kids! Round up this great day with some snorkeling around the coral reefs, admire colorful fish, many beautiful starfish, and picturesque seashells., or simply relax on the white sandy beach. Upon your return admire the breathtaking view of Stone Town, the bay, and the archipelago.

jonazi forest tour This is a 3-hours guided excursion. The Jozani Forest Tour will take you to the Jozani natural forest (it is the only natural forest in Zanzibar Island). The forest is located in the central east region of the Zanzibar Island. Just about a 20min drive from Stone Town. It is a narrow neck of land between the Chwaka Bay in the north and Uzi Bay to the south. It contains about 100 tree species from a total of 43 families. The forest has over 2,512ha that includes the whole ground water forest, coral rag forest and salt marsh area.

How To Get Fumba Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 it depends on how far your hotel drops you up at Fumba village when the low tide on the trip from Man port if low tide we will change the location. Sandbank Picnic Our trips will start with the Sandbank picnic where you will get a chance to play on the white sand, relax, swim and get Fresh fruits like watermelon, mangoes, Coconatus, and pineapple before continuing next season. this activity will take about 2hrs, later than Snorkeling At Safari Blue Zanzibar You will get in on the boat for Snorkeling 300 meters away from Sandbanks at the special place for snorkelling, at this time you will take on your snorkel gear with thins and glass for exploring Zanzibar fishing and Marean, this fish will be near to your arms but you should not allow to touch them. These will be 35 minutes of experience by snorkelling and taking pictures if you want later then we will get in on the boat for Blue Lagoon. Blue Lagoon This is blue lagoon is a natural swimming pool found at Kwale Island with two natural doors also this place around with mangrove, when the low tide the place remain without water and should be sand only and when the high tide there is full of water and you will get chance to swimming, Later than we are starting a trip to Kwale island. Kwale Island it’s about 10 minutes from the blue lagoon to Kwale island when we arrive we will start to see the huge baobab tree this tree has about 500 years and is still available at the time we see the huge tree while the local foods are served lunch, normal this is plates of seafood with local rice, salads, soft drinks, and water. Notes: if you are not using plates of seafood you will inform us before so that will prepare vegetarian foods.There are small shops for locals who sell the traditional stuff if you would like you will buy not only but also there are the sand bar and voluble area. Later then we will get on the boat from Kwale to Fumba village and the driver will take you to your hotel overnight.
